The Prime Minister Internship Scheme (PMIS) 2024 is a transformative initiative launched by the Indian government to provide 1.25 lakh internship opportunities in the country’s top 500 companies. - Financial Assistance: Interns will receive a monthly stipend of ₹5,000, with ₹4,500 provided by the government and ₹500 by the participating companies through their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) contributions. In addition, a one-time grant of ₹6,000 will be provided to help with initial expenses upon joining.
- Eligibility: Candidates between 21-24 years of age who are not engaged in full-time education or employment can apply.
